Screenplay Screen Awards is an awards competition dedicated to all screenwriters in the world. Screenplay Screen Awards is to be a place for all screenwriters to submit their work. The competition is looking on finding the unique screenplay in the world that is entertaining and inspiring. Goldie gladly shares her recent achievement in an exclusive interview.
Q: Tell us how your script Jesus God – Jesus Man evolved?
This was purely labor of love. I love Jesus very much and would love for the world to know him.
Q: How do you feel winning Platinum award in Screenplay Screen Awards?
Wonderful. It will help for more people to hear about it.
Q: What has the feedback been so far?
Excellent. Now 17 Festivals have accepted the script and so far 9 have awarded it.
Q: Tell us about your own background.
Where you were born? Where did you study film? What was your first movie? What was your previous job? Are you a full-time filmmaker?
I was born in Croatia and came to Canada as a 16 year old in 1962. I produced a movie for the first time in my life in 2016, Stolen Path. Now I see the wisdom behind it, it was pre-run for Jesus God – Jesus Man. To make a living I always managed rental properties. But my love is making films that the whole family can watch.
Q: What was the best part of the project?
Getting my first acceptance at the film festival, and one of the first awards was “The Best Script” awarded by Creation Festival.
Q: What was the most challenging?
Research was extensive, as every scene had to be based on the bible.
Q: Are you pleased with the overall outcome?
Yes, I am. The inspiration came from God.
Q: What are your hopes and dreams for the script?
I have only one dream: to produce the film myself, according to my vision of Jesus as a humble man and magnificent God.
Q: How long did it take to complete the script?
One full year. Full time.
Q: Does this script send the message you intended?
Yes, I believe it does.
Q: Do you personally know anyone who inspires this script?
Bible and the world’s current conditions.
Q: How many awards has the script won?
17 and counting.
Q: Are you working on any new projects?
If yes, can you give a glance about it?
There is enough script, 533 pages original script, to produce not only a feature film, but a whole year series.
