“We want to take the stress out of moving. Any change of location and new living situation are challenge enough in themselves. Moving your valued possessions from A to B should be easy and convenient – and individual wishes should not be a problem”, explain the two founders, Jonathan Wooddin and Simon Wirschinger.
SMOOVER specialises in city-to-city and cross-border moves throughout Europe. The customer promise is outstanding service at a competitive price. This includes really taking every detail of a move into account: “Experience shows that a move is actually always individual – there is such a wide variety in terms of different types of buildings and street access, that can result in complex in-situ situations, especially in Europe. So for this, we create a pleasant dialogue and offer a bespoke solution”, the founders explain.

The two founders consider the many positive reviews from satisfied customers a success, as well as strong year-on-year growth. So-called “expats” are often among the customers, who are particularly impressed by the professional communication – mostly in English. Among them are also people who want to pursue a professional career and take advantage of opportunities all over Europe. But also people who want to move antiques, paintings, offices or other special freight have already entrusted themselves to SMOOVER.
The founders do not want to rest on their initial successes. “There is always something to improve. We notice from the questions we receive from customers that we can always expand the service idea. We want to incorporate all the needs that arise around a move into our model. We see ourselves as a complete moving platform.”
