Nexx Smart Alarm Launches Successful Crowdfunding Campaign On Kickstarter

DALLAS, Texas – October 22, 2020 – Nexx, a tech startup that makes simple-to-use smart products that provide advanced monitoring and control of your home, is running a successful Kickstarter campaign for the Nexx Smart Alarm. Within three hours of launch, Nexx Smart Alarm had reached its $20,000 funding goal. Three days into the campaign, nearly 650 backers had pledged close to $60,000.

Nexx Smart Alarm works with existing alarm equipment to expand that equipment’s capabilities, enabling round-the-clock monitoring of the home from any smart device. It is compatible with alarm systems made by Honeywell, ATD, First Alert, and DSC. The device can be installed in less than 10 minutes, and the app enables users to operate and monitor their home security system from any location. With Nexx Smart Alarm, users can control their alarm system using all the major voice-activation providers like Amazon Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant.

With Nexx Smart Alarm’s voice notification, customers will receive alerts on their phone whenever the alarm is activated or deactivated, even when their phone is in silent mode. And the Nexx Smart Alarm is completely portable, enabling customers to take the device with them when they move, for use with the new home’s alarm equipment.

 

Nexx offers a features-rich Standard plan as well as the optional Pro Plan for a modest monthly fee. The Pro Plan includes a “set-it-and-forget-it” scheduling feature that enables users to determine a daily time for activating and deactivating the alarm. The Pro Plan also includes “Just Drive” technology: if a user drives away from home without arming the alarm, the system will immediately send a notification.
